The executives and staff of the Language Institute, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Sakorn Rueanklai, Director of the Language Institute, and Mr. Karim Ali Hussain, General Manager of the Language Institute, paid an official visit to the Australian Embassy in Bangkok. During the visit, they had the honour of meeting Mr. Andrew Egan, Chargé d’Affaires, and Ms. Pattarin to discuss and exchange perspectives on the longstanding relationship between Thailand and Australia. The meeting also provided an opportunity for students from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Chiang Mai University to engage in discussions on ethnic diversity, multiculturalism, and cross-cultural understanding. The meeting concluded successfully in a warm and productive atmosphere. Students actively participated by asking thoughtful questions and exchanging ideas throughout the session. This visit marked a valuable opportunity for the Language Institute, Chiang Mai University, and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) to strengthen their partnership with the Australian Embassy, fostering future collaboration in academic exchange, intercultural learning, and international engagement.
