On January 27, 2026, at Faculty of Engineering’s Research and Technological Transfer Building, Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, CMU President, officiated the 4th International Symposium on Multilateral Innovation for Future Society 2026 (MIFS2026).
This event gathered researchers and innovators from four leading institutions from Thailand and South Korea to shape future society through science and technology, covering six key areas: plasma physics, AI, sustainable energy, and medicine. MIFS 2026 placed strong emphasis on building transnational research networks. Research projects initiated during the symposium will receive special consideration for support under the CMU Targeted Research Grant.
